Non-Profits

One of my biggest dreams is to become a philanthropist. I wish I was Oprah (for oh, so many reasons) or Bill Gates (though not for as many reasons) and could randomly donate thousands or even millions of dollars to my favorite charity or event. I would love to raise one of those cute little paddles with my bid number on it and give whatever monetary amount I desire to help this world become a better place, to help someone in need, to contribute to organizations that I believe in, and to help those organizations touch the lives of many.

Unfortunately I’m a normal girl (sort of) with a normal income. I still donate when I can and I realize that every little bit helps, but it never seems like enough. I can’t be a philanthropist with my money…however, I CAN be a philanthropist with my time and talents.

I LOVE working with non-profit organizations; I love being a part of something bigger than myself, with the primary focus on improving our world. And while I can’t save lives by performing brain surgery (and anyone who has met me should be very relieved), or by running into a burning building to rescue people, or by doing intense research in a lab to cure cancer or AIDS, or by becoming a full-time superhero (tights are not my friend) I CAN donate the small amount of talent and time that I have to preserve memories and capture events that help change my little corner of the world.

While my schedule fills up quickly, I am always interested in helping out if I can. If you need a photographer for a non-profit event or a fundraiser, please contact me; even if I can’t help every time, I would love the opportunity to talk to you.

NOTE: My schedule books quickly, and I can only take a limited amount of non-profit work, so call as far in advance as you can to book me!
