Heidi and Eric are officially the longest wedding I have waited for. Sam and I did their engagement session way back in March of 2010 (you’ll remember these two, and are forever dubbed as, “The Pigeon Poo Couple”). We finally shot their wedding this September of 2011. Heidi and Eric are so much fun…super laid back, super sweet, and super funny. We laughed all the way through their engagement session, and did so at their wedding as well. It was worth the wait!
Heidi and Eric were married at the beautiful Kirkland Waterfront Park, on a day that was a steamy 90 degrees…it was officially hotter than our Santa Fe wedding the weekend before, with less humidity to boot.
Heidi and Eric left us a ton of time to run around downtown Kirkland to get these super fun shots of the city.
Love the pedestrian laughing at them…we got lots of honks and “Congratulations” during this shoot….

No cake for these two…they had a FREAKING COOKIE BAR!!!!!!!!!! Heidi’s family spent days before the wedding baking these amazing treats. SO YUMMO!

Thank you Sarah for all your hard work, sweat and dedication. Being the center of every photograph isn’t as easy as it really should be (especially being a girl) but you made it comfortable … for even the groom! I will always cherish these amazing pictures and I am so happy you (and the wonderful Sam) were apart (a large part) of making them.
