She’s just about the sweetest thing…at 3 weeks old, little Leah was SO content during our photoshoot. She didn’t cry or fuss, was awake for part of it, then fell into that blissful newborn deep sleep for the rest of the shoot. What a little doll!
I got to try out my new black and white floral fabric with her…I have to say, I LOVE this concept for a baby!
Her little baby bum was too cute to resist!!!
Did you know that they made fairy wings this small? SSQQUUEEAALLL!!!!!!!!!!
We took Leah outside for a little while because it was such BEATIFUL weather!!!
I don’t typically do this type of editing on my photos, but I felt spunky and did something a little different this time.
I used one of Pioneer Woman’s free actions. You can get yours HERE. (P.S. If you are a photographer and don’t know who Pioneer Woman is, you really need to spend some time on her website. She’s pretty much A-MA-ZING!!!!!)
These next photos were taken on Leah’s Daddy’s ORIGINAL HIGH CHAIR! How sweet is that?
Special thanks to Amanda, Leah’s wonderful mommy, for not looking at me like I was nuts with some of my ideas.
“Hey, help me balance your baby precariously on this old rickety high-chair. NO, no, it’ll be ok! Really!”
“Hey, I know it’s, like, 45 degrees outside, but let’s take your 3 week old baby OUTSIDE!”
You’re the best!
I love love LOVE Baby Leah! The fairy pictures are unbelievable!
I love how alert she is in the first two pictures. I like the close up of her on the high chair because the mom in me can imagine that somone is holding her there, just out of the frame! haha!
