Apparently all of these things add to up an AMAZING engagement session…
Heidi and Eric met with Sam and I in Georgetown on a beautiful sunny Seattle day to grab some super fun, crusty crunchy engagement photos. We went to Georgetown’s Seattle Brewing and Malting Company, which has been shut down for years now. It was the original Rainier Brewery, but has since moved locations. I did a senior shoot here with my girl Lauren a few weeks ago, and I couldn’t wait to visit it again with two hawt people in love!
Heidi and Eric were SUCH troopers…this place is pretty run down! The dirt, grime and mold didn’t phase these two…they were just happy that we kept asking them to kiss!
Lookit how cute and goofy they are!!!!!
So it the above photo, see the wall behind Heidi? I asked Heidi to hop in front of it for a shot…all of a sudden, she let out a “Whelp!” and was shocked to find that the wall behind her was NOT a wall, but a door that actually opened! We poked our heads in, and man oh MAN did we hit the photography goldmine!!!! This place was SO COOL inside, and of course, we threw caution to the wind and got some amazing photos!
And for our final adventure: after we came back outside after exploring inside the brewery, Sam noticed these cool pools of water. He wanted to get a cool reflection shot of Heidi and Eric kissing. No sooner did he get this shot, when….
..an angry pigeon up above us decided to use poor Eric’s head as his toilet. We decided that we’d had enough adventure and called it quits. Fortunately, we already gotten a million awesome photos…but still, what a crazy way to end a crazy photoshoot!
Heidi and Eric, I can’t tell you what a BLAST it was to shoot you guys! You two were so much fun, especially the part where we risked our lives in a rickety old building. You guys understood our vision for awesome photos, and I’d have to say it was worth it! We cannot WAIT to shoot your wedding this fall!!!
LOVE these shots!! Specially the ones by the twirly stairs!!
Man, that building is Cooool! Here in Chicago we go exploring and we find some really cool stuff, but those stairs were amazing. And as always you really take some nice pictures.
OMG!!! Love these photos…. its has a sort of crusty, modern vintage feel if that’s at all possible lol. How AMAZING that you stumbled upon THAT stairwell… BEAUTIFUL! And the last pool of water w. their reflection photo was my fav!! Thumbs up to SAM!
lol ok … so i just decided i would like totally like to do a shoot inside THAT building… but just with me, in like a pretty floral dress… kinda cute/sexy/sassy pics but nothing revealing… if ya know what i mean… *sigh*
SooOOoooo excited for wedding pictures!! Oh and for my wedding. Hahaha.
