October 3, 2009 began as a rainy, drizzly day weather-wise, but all Kathryn and Adam saw was sunshine…and each other. I was particularly excited about this wedding because I had SUCH a good connection with these two….we just CLICKED! I did their Engagement Shoot about a month ago, and fell totally in love with these guys. When Sam met them on their wedding day, it was as if the four of us had been friends for YEARS. In fact, I was asked about 5 times that day how long we had been friends with the bride and groom….
This was a really cool day, and I have a ton of images to show you guys, so I made a slideshow to show them off. I posted a few of my fave images from the day, as well.
They started out their big day with a Traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony held at Kathryn’s mom’s house. Sam and I had never had the opportunity to be a part of something like this. What a cool tradition!

After the Tea Ceremony, we went over to Kathryn and Adam’s house to get ready for the traditional Christian ceremony.
The Ceremony was held at Northwest Baptist Ceremony, one of the coolest locations in the area! The photo ops there were to die for!!!!!
Kathryn and Adam had a foot-washing ceremony, which where the couples wash each other’s feet, re-enacting Jesus washing his disciples feet the night before he was betrayed. (On a side note, my ADORABLE husband came and sat next to me during this part of the ceremony. He squeezed my hand, and when I looked over at him, he had tears streaming down his face. Of course, that made ME cry….if these pics are blurry, it’s because it’s REALLY HARD to focus your camera when you are bawling like a baby…..)

Kathryn and Adam got engaged under a full moon, so when they were planning their wedding, they wanted to make sure that it was a full moon as well. Of COURSE we had to get their picture under the gorgeous Harvest moon!!!!!!!

Congratulations, guys! Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your day…we were truly honored! We wish you both the best of luck!!!!!!!!!!
Here is the slide show from their beautiful day…Thank you so much to the wonderful Leroy Bell for giving me permission to use his music. Check him out when you get a chance….his music is AMAZING!!!!!
Love it! The foot washing ceremony was PRECIOUS!!!!
