This last Saturday, October 24, 2009, zombies all around the world got together in their nearest city to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s Thriller video release. Hundreds of the walking dead arrived in Seattle’s Occidental Park in an attempt to break the world record for the most people doing the Thriller dance at one time.
This event was one of the most fun events I’ve been to in a while. Sam and I brought the kids and met up with some friends. We did a rocking TOTALLY FUN photoshoot before the dance started, but I’ll show you those on another blog. For now, I’ve been bombarded with emails from fellow zombies asking for photos. So…here they are!!!!
To view all the images and download photos from the event, go to “proofs” and you will see the Thrill the World album on the bottom of the page. Fell free to download anything you’d like to have. You’re welcome to use them for anything you’d like! Have fun!!!!
Here are my faves from the day!

Of COURSE Zombies in Seattle are going to drink Starbucks…..

My daughter was one of only two Zombie Cheerleaders….

Michael Jackson himself even made an appearance!!!!

Waiting for the cue to start dancing….

At exactly 5:30 pm, Zombies around the world were given the cue to get in dancing mode!

The famous beat to “Thriller” started, and all of a sudden…

…the dead began to rise….

And here’s a video so you all can see what it was like!!!!!
To find out more about the World Wide Thriller Dance, visit the Thrill The World website! Hope to see you all there next year!!!!
Your photo blog is really entertaining, it’s nice to have both a story and the images together.
