The day started out warm and sunny…and quickly turned to HOT and sunny. Eastern Washington has it’s own climate totally separate from Seattle weather- sizzling hot in the summer, and freezing-freaking-cold in the winter. Unlike Seattle, it actually has SEASONS.
I had the pleasure of shooting Stefanie and Nic’s wedding with John Galfano, a fellow Seattle Flickerite. We had such a blast, and worked together really well. The wedding was held at Jamisons Event Center in Moses Lake, WA. What an adorable location!!!
Stefanie’s dress was beautiful…John and I snagged it before the wedding for it’s own little photoshoot.
The bride and groom were totally sweet, and accepted me in as family! Of course, that could be because I was shooting with John, and HE is family (the grooms cousin) but still…they were a blast!!!!
The wedding party was awesome:
Stefanie could not have been MORE comfortable in front of the camera. Seriously, I think I have a million pictures of her. Not only is she beautiful, but she’s TOTALLY photogenic. (Yes, beauty and photogenic do NOT go hand in hand…you’d be surprised at how many gorgeous people do not photograph well..)
Guests started arriving, and it was almost showtime!
But first, Stefanie had to write her vows….
The reception was filled with adorable kiddos-
And of course, I had to snag the rings and do a few of my infamous ring shots:
The light for the first dance was PHENOMINAL! You should have seen me running around squealing when I saw the awesome sun flare!!!!
After that, it was Party Hardy for this crowd!!!!
