Hey all! I hope I can write a decent blog today because, well, I am barely coherent today. My mother in law is coming home next week after being in the hospital since January. She took a bad fall down the stairs, broke her arm, fractured her eye socket, had to be intubated, had a tracheotomy, and now has to go through physical therapy to gain her strength back. We bought a house together with my in laws, so the good part about all of this is that I can be here at home all day to help her when she gets here. The down side is that her part of the house isn’t ready for a person going through physical therapy. We’ve had to rip out our front yard fence to build a driveway across our lawn so that her house is more accessible to her. We also had to rearrange and clean her house so that it’s easier for her to get around in. Tonight we are putting in new French Doors to her house so that they are wheelchair accessible. Of course, all of this is TOTALLY worth it so that we can have her home, but it has been a busy, hard few weeks for us to get ready! I can’t wait to see the look on her face when she gets home to her beautiful, clean house after so many months in the hospital. That will be amazing!
Last Saturday, Sam and I went to a Mariners Game. My best friend had never been to a baseball game, so it was even more fun to show off Safeco Field to her! We had such a blast! The M’s were playing the Red Sox, and the game stayed tied 2-2 most of the game until the bottom of the 9th when the batter hit a ground ball through the hole into left field and drove in the winning run, sliding in at home plate! It was FANTASTIC!!!!!! Here are some of my fave shots from the day:

Jesse and I have an obsession with feet pictures….

At some point in the ballgame, the Grounds Crew usually gets out and does a little performance in between innings…it’s a HOOT!!!!

Got to sneak a shot of Dave Niehaus, long time Mariners broadcaster in his booth, doing his thang! He’s legendary among Mariner Fans. (He’s the one on the far right in the blue tie)

Any baseball game I go to, I HAVE to get cotton candy. It’s just not the same otherwise!!!

These shots were taken by my girl, Jesse:
And these were taken by ME! I’m usually not to good at the self portrait thing, but I think these turned out pretty cute!!!
Me and my BFF being cool:
MARINERS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a BEAUTIFUL day for a game, and the M’s win just topped it off!
Hope you all are having a fantastic week!!!!
