Last Sunday, my 2 month old cousin Savannah was blessed. A blessing is basically a dedication of a child to her church and to the church’s records, and also a welcome from the congregation to the child. Her beautiful dress was hand made by her mother and her Aunt. We couldn’t take pictures of the blessing itself, but after church, we had a family barbeque and I did a photoshoot with Savannah in her living room!

This is my daughter, Arianna (the toothless one) and Savannah’s sister, Salina, holding the baby. Arianna and I fight over who gets to hold any baby that we are around…she usually wins the argument…
