The one thing you should really know about me is that I have a strong desire to help others. I love doing everything from volunteering for non profit organizations, to helping a friend clean her house because she’s having a bad day. I don’t know, maybe it’s because I feel so blessed in life that I want others to have the same happiness that I do. Or maybe I just wouldn’t know what to do without a totally full schedule. I suppose I create my own chaos…
Anyway, I’ve been able to take part in a few things that I’ve very excited about. The last few months I’ve done photography for non profit organizations such as In Line Behind Me, and The Firefighter Stairclimb (our photos can be viewed here) I love being a part of something that is much bigger than myself and being able to contribute in a small way to help others.
So THIS is my next escapade- Noche De Esperanza:
Sam and I will be photographing the event, and we are totally excited for 2 reasons:
1) The Dance will raise money for Consejo Counseling and Referral Services, a non profit organization designed to help victims of domestic violence and other abuse.
2) Sam and I LOVE to salsa dance!
Also, a 16x20 print of the photograph that you see on the ad will be auctioned off, as well as an hour photosession done with Yours Truly! All of the proceeds to go Consejo to further their mission.
Everyone is invited! So come out, dance, get your picture taken, and help be a part of something that is a REALLY good cause- something that makes a difference in the lives of many people!
