A Beatiful Fall Morning by Sarah Alston
Took a walk around my neighborhood this morning just for the simple joy of taking pictures of the beautiful fall colors. I just LOVE this time of year!
I think one of the reasons that I love fall so much is that it reminds me that there can be beauty in death. Yeah, I know it sounds weird and analytical, but I really feel that death, especially if you believe in an afterlife of some sort, really can be a beautiful transition from one wonderful life to another. The leaves of fall are changing, and on their journey to death they showcase such vibrancy and beauty.
Amazing how something as simple as the changing of a season can make me think about life and death. Or maybe I’m just crazy…
