I was getting a pan out of the oven on Saturday, and didn’t realize that the pan pad was WET. My knee jerk reaction was then to grab the 400 degree pan with my OTHER hand….yeah, the hand that was BARE…
I ended up with burns on 4 fingers, two on each hand. This one was the worst, though.
Fortunately, my friend Erin was over, and helped bandage me up as well as took care of my kiddos and helped me clean while I ran cold water over my hands for almost 4 hours.
The best part? It was my daughters birthday party that night, and I had a TON to do. Sam came home from work early to help me out with the party….What a hunny!
THANK GOODNESS for awesome friends who help you make your daughters birthday cake when you’re injured…LOVE ya Erin! (and you too, Sam! Hehehe)
